Eike Bierwirth’s Comprehensive Schedules include information about shortwave, mediumwave and longwave broadcasts, and are available free at the EiBi home page at www.eibispace.de (the original and formerly more widely known alias address is www.eibi.de.vu
).
The direct download link to the most recent schedule, in a format compatible with Radio Explorer, is provided on the Input Data page of Radio Explorer Web site.
Radio Explorer reads EiBi schedules in the time‐ordered format.
Radio Explorer supports EiBi schedules for seasons starting with the B02, winter 2002–2003 broadcasting season. Schedules for earlier seasons appeared in the EiBi schedule archive more recently, in November 2007, and are not supported at the moment.
For seasons up to and including the A06, summer 2006 broadcasting season, all schedule information read by Radio Explorer is contained inbc-###.txt files. To open a schedule for one of those seasons, point Radio Explorer to a bc-###.txt file.
For some time after the start of the B06, winter 2006–2007 broadcasting season, EiBi schedules were not available in the time‐ordered format, asbc-###.txt files. To open a schedule for that period, please point Radio Explorer to one of the unofficialbc-###.txt files, which were prepared from the official EiBi schedule files in other formats, and which are available in the Archive of EiBi Schedules on Radio Explorer Web site.
Since the middle of the B06 broadcasting season, and for all later seasons, schedule information read by Radio Explorer is contained inbc-###.txt files and in theREADME.TXT file. To open a schedule for one of these more recent seasons, add a bc-###.txt file and theREADME.TXT file into a zip archive, and point Radio Explorer to the prepared zip archive file.
High‐Frequency Seasonal schedules of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) include information about broadcasting on the short waves by private stations in the U.S., and are available free at the Seasonal Schedules
page of the FCC Web site.
High Frequency Coordination Conference (HFCC) coordinates transmission schedules of stations broadcasting on the short waves. HFCC schedules are available free at the HFCC Public Data
page.
Radio Explorer reads HFCC schedules directly in the zip archive form, exactly as they are published. Please don’t unzip/unpack the zip archive files for HFCC schedules. Please open the zip archive files in Radio Explorer directly. It is not necessary to extract text files from the zip archives.
Prime Time Shortwave schedules include information about shortwave broadcasts in English. Initially the schedules were compiled by Daniel Sampson. Currently they are maintained by Ernest Riley in cooperation with Daniel.
The schedules are available free at the Prime Time Shortwave home page at www.primetimeshortwave.com . On the home page, you can also subscribe to the e‑mail newsletter and receive notice of schedule updates.
Radio Explorer reads Prime Time Shortwave schedules in the time‐ordered text format (time.txt files).
SWBC schedules used to include information about shortwave, mediumwave, and longwave broadcasts in English, as well as information about the programs being broadcast. The schedules were compiled by Mark J. Fine. Previously you could get free copies of SWBC schedules at the English Language Schedules Download page. Regrettably, SWBC schedules are no longer maintained.
If you have SWBC schedules for previous seasons, here is how you can view them in Radio Explorer. The schedules were published as two zip archives,SW_DATA.ZIP andDX_ALT.ZIP. Extract files from the archives. You will get two files:SW_UPD.DBF, which is the broadcast schedule, andDX_UPD.DBF, which is the program schedule. To view the schedules, first open the broadcast schedule, and then open the program schedule. The program schedule data will be displayed along with the broadcast schedule data, as shown on this large screenshot on Radio Explorer Web site.
